2020 was not a good year for me. I was recovering from long covid. Slowly. When you can't do much, you think a lot. And I kept coming back to one question. What will future generations say about us? So I did something about it. I co-founded the Million Tree Pledge, and I pledged to plant a million trees myself. The lesson wasn't about trees. It was about perspective. When the big things are clear, the small things stop shouting. And the people I met through it are some of the best introductions I've ever made. [MARCUS TO ADD: one specific moment from that year.]
